Bioi recently moved to the big apple from big D. actually that's not really true, i lived in arlington, tx, not dallas, but most people here don't know where arlington is so i've gotten in the habit of just saying dallas. i've been in the city a few months now, just long enough to realize i'm going to have to be a little more proactive if i want to make new friends. i work as a nanny on the upper east side for a one year old little girl, who just may be the cutest thing i've ever seen. i am enjoying new york so far, the bigness and anonymity of the city, the occasional celebrity sighting, knowing that i'm starting a new chapter of life. but it's overwhelming at times too. times square is enough to give you a seizure. i miss my friends and my family and my dog. i miss being two hours away from austin, the live music capitol of the world, and i miss taco cabanna like you wouldn't believe.
